Creating a relaxing spa like environment in the client’s home is something you may want to add as an extra touch with your mobile spa. Some of you will start your mobile spa business on a bigger scale and some of you may want to keep your business as a one person business where you are the only employee. If you are a one-person business you may not want to add the spa environment to your business.
You may want to keep your business as a service only business and not create a spa environment for clients. If you do decide to offer this type of extra service you will have to charge extra for this luxury. You can even offer a catering service to your clients as well as creating a spa environment. You can work something out with your local caterer and offer there services to your clients.

Bathrobes should be wrapped in plastic for each client so she will know that it is clean and has not been used by another person. Slippers should be a washable or disposable. You can use chair covers for the manicure chairs. By adding covers to the chair this will make the manicure chairs blend in with the surroundings. If you add rose petals to the bath water make sure you clean out the petals after. Another alternative to real rose petals is to use artificial flowers, which is a cheaper alternative and can be bought at a craft store.

Candles come in a variety of shapes and forms. Ensure that candles are enclosed in a glass jar. You do not want a open flame that is exposed to your surroundings and to your clients. Stay away from tapered candles. Look for candles that are in a deep glass jar. Make sure you place a coaster or something protective under the candle. Sometimes the candle can burn down and then leave a mark on the surface it was sitting on. You have to be very careful of everything you do in the clients home. You have to think of every possibility and avoid any accidents to the best of your ability.

Music is a nice touch to the clients spa party. Using portable CD player is your best option. Make sure you have an outlet to plug it into or have a supply of extra batteries on hand. There is a large range of "ambient" music available in most record stores. Wal-Mart usually have a display unit for a range of music that you can sample before you buy.
Try calling your local florist to arrange a discount or price-reduced flowers that they will be throwing out but are still good to use for that evening. In return you can advertise where the flowers came from.
